LeftLovers is an application for buying and selling food from leftovers
that are still in good condition and worth eating at a cheaper price.
This application was created to reduce food waste in Indonesia.
This business idea came from a problem where food waste in Indonesia reaches 48 million tons annually.
This figure is equivalent to 115 kg-184 kg of food waste per capita per year.
Based on the data we are looking for,
Indonesia produces the second most food waste in the world.
So, we create a Leftlovers application that sells leftover food that is still worth eating at a lower price.
We also care about the Indonesian people. So, we contribute to donation activities for underprivileged communities.
Also, we indirectly want to help people live frugally and reduce the increase in food waste in Indonesia.
